Atlantic Global User Group Event 2004

Building on the success of last year, Tuesday 18th October 2004 saw the second annual Atlantic Global User Group. The event was chaired by Colin Gibbins from Norwich Union and had the primary aim of providing Atlantic Global customers with an insight into new company developments, an outline of the future direction of the product range and also to enable customers to share their different experiences with implementation of our flagship product, Corporate Vision.

The venue was full to capacity with customer representatives from GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Norwich Union, Virgin, NEC, Friends Provident and LogicaCMG.

The event commenced with an introduction from Atlantic Global's Chairman, David Cox. David set the tone of the event by outlining why he had joined the company and how passionately he felt that the success of Atlantic Global was driven by the success our clients achieved and how important the excellent relationships we had developed with them was to Atlantic's continued progress.

This was followed by presentations from Atlantic's senior executive team, including Eugene Blaine, Managing Director, James Waller our Director of Marketing and David Cutts the Head of Consultancy.

Eugene opened his presentation with an in-depth explanation as to how and why Corporate Vision was delivering customer benefits. He went on to explain the company's corporate road map and concluded with how the organisation was continually driving the performance of key functions such as marketing and sales.

James Waller provided an examination of how and why Atlantic Global had re-branded. He explained that Atlantic has a robust, mature and proven set of solutions that can help organisations obtain a relevant, realistic and timely view of business operational performance. Finally, he explained how marketing has redesigned the brand, messaging and renaming our products to reflect the focus on providing solutions.

James was followed by the Head of Consultancy, David Cutts, who delivered a comprehensive analysis of Atlantic Globals "Product Road Map". David opened by explaining how and why the product interface had been re-branded and also how the development team had enhanced key aspects of Corporate Vision such as "what-if modelling", "milestone enhancements" and the new role based dashboards.

David then discussed the future direction of the Atlantic Global solution range, including the development of a new Atlantic Global Timesheet shrink-wrap product, wireless connectivity and an ASP model of the solution. David concluded with a Q&A session that allowed the floor to discuss both company and product development over the last 12 months and the forthcoming year. The highlight of the event was delivered by the guest speakers Mike Innes from LogicaCMG and Phil Livesley from Barclays Bank Plc.

Both speakers provided excellent presentations, provoking keen interest and dialogue from the audience. The speakers spoke in-depth about their business challenges, why Atlantic Global Corporate Vision had been chosen to solve their problems, how the solution had been implemented and the benefits attained. Summarising, both speakers said that the implementation of Corporate Vision has delivered a better understanding of the business, fusing together the strategic and operational processes, thereby maximising efficiency. More significantly, Corporate Vision has provided both organisations with real-time opportunity detection in key aspects of its critical business process, enabling managers to make correct decisions at the right time. With all of the presentations complete it was time for the consultants to take control, providing individual product workshops, demonstrating new features, new graphical reporting and answering on the spot questions from their own respective audiences.

To wrap things up the drink and canapés were served providing customers with the ability to continue to network in a relaxing environment.

Atlantic Global would like to thank everybody who attended the event for making it such a success, with special thanks extended to the speakers.
