Atlantic Global User Group Event 2003
Tuesday 15th July 2003, London's Radisson Edwardian Hotel saw the inaugural Adeo User Group. The goal - to provide Adeo users with an insight into different customer experiences, the future direction of Adeo, and to introduce them to Adeo Corporate Vision.
The event was designed to be factual, informative and above all to deliver a platform for customers to successfully network and discuss their experiences. With over 100 attendees, including representatives from GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Norwich Union, Virgin, NEC, Friends Provident and LogicaCMG, the venue was full to capacity and a buzz of anticipation filled the air . The event kicked off with a lunch reception, providing customers with that all important energy to see them through the day ahead, but more importantly to meet the Atlantic Team and to network with representatives from other organisations.
With lunch out of the way it was time to move onto pastures more challenging - the presentations, commencing with the customers. Guest speakers included Norwich Union, Virgin Mobile and Aspect Communications. All of the guest speakers provided excellent presentations provoking keen interest and dialogue from the audience with subjects ranging from Business Transformation (Norwich Union), Managing the Programme Office (Virgin Mobile) and Improving Margins through Accurate Information (Aspect Communications). All of the presentations illustrated the diverse application of Adeo, the challenges faced and benefits delivered through implementing the system.
With the customer Q&A session complete and everyone's batteries recharged with a quick refreshment break, it was time for Atlantic to take to the stand, with presentations from our recently appointed Sales & Marketing Director, Mark Allcock and the Managing Director of Atlantic Global, Eugene Blaine. First into the firing line was Mark, presenting "Adeo Future Directions". His objective, to provide users with an insight into the future direction of Adeo and its underlying technologies, with the goal of recruiting additional customers to the Adeo Technology Focus Groups.
With topics such as Adeo Light, wireless connectivity, xSP and Web Services covered there was plenty for customers to analyse.Eugene's presentation saw the introduction of Adeo Corporate Vision. One of the most exciting developments in Atlantic's history, even our own enthusiasm couldn't have prepared us for such an overwhelming positive response from the users to Corporate Vision's unique approach to simplifying the management of budgets, portfolios, resources and milestones. So much so we have introduced a series of Executive Breakfast Briefings to cope with the demand of customers wishing to see Adeo Corporate Vision in more detail.
With all of the presentations complete it was time for the consultants to take control, providing individual product workshops, demonstrating new features, new graphical reporting and answering on the spot questions from their own respective audience.
To wrap things up the evening meal provided an excellent opportunity for customers to network over a nice glass of wine, gorgeous food in a relaxing environment. Atlantic Global would like to thank everybody who attended the event for making it such a success, with special thanks extended to the speakers.
