Q. In summary, you're selling high quality enterprise software?
A. Yes. Essentially the software solutions we are selling are enterprise software solutions, which are Web based. Essentially people can input all of their workload, their projects, their business activities and all of their people's skill sets and time. They can organize their people by role-based approaches - this is tailoring the person's management information to their job role i.e., Resource Manager, CEO, Programs Manager and Project Manager and so on. So they can better understand their capability and they can balance their capabilities and organization against what they are trying to achieve, i.e. the workload that they are trying to achieve within those organizations.
Q. Describe the market place and how you are responding to its changing demands?
A. I would describe the marketplace as slightly confused. The project and resource planning discipline has existed for the last 15 years, but when people refer to that, they typically mean a task-driven planning solution. In other words, this is the very detailed management of individual projects. In addition, most of these task-based planning solutions that our competitors offer were developed and they evolved out of IT departments, whereas we have worked with multiple departments and business units (including IT), to understand on a broader basis the different issues that exist outside the IT department. This enables us to develop more generic and more holistic solutions for our clients' business needs and requirements.
