Regulation of Investigation Powers Act 2000

Replacing parts of the Interception of Communications Act 1985 the RIPA puts structure and controls in place for various law enforcement activities that previously were not covered. New powers will enable agencies to intercept communications, monitor individuals and force companies to assist in these activities.

Becoming compliant with the act will ensure that individuals, involved with your company, security is ensured. The Act also makes it illegal to undertake these activities without legal consent.
